Handknit Holidays Aran Tree Skirt

I've just started the 3rd of 11 panels. One strand of Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick on US11 needles meets the recommended gauge. As I'm not using a contrasting border, this should only use 10 skeins. It's on sale at Hancock's Fabric this month ($4). The stitch definition isn't as crisp as the double stranded wool in the pattern, but the price is unbeatable.

P.S. Don't tell my sister, but this is her Christmas 2006 gift!
