Handknit Holidays Beaded Votives
I've made a couple red beaded votive holders for Valentine's Day. It seems that 5 yards of wire isn't enough. If you're making these just load the beads onto the wire while it's on the spool (most are 24 yards) and knit from it. 
Also, though my glass votive holders are only 2.5" high, I cast on as if knitting for 3" high holders. This made it much easier to "block" the wire.

That's a really cool voltive holder. I've been starting to bead but haven't done anything that complicated. How long did it take you? Have you been beading long?
Thanks. This was my first bead knitted project. Each votive took about 2 hours to complete. It's a bit tough on your fingertips, but overall quite easy.
